The bullet connector is also fully Insulated "Quick-Disconnect" terminal for 22-18 wire gauge. The heat shrink tube is made of insulated PE material. It will shrink to 1/3 of its original size and produce a heat-activated sealant lining after heating that will protect the wire from moisture, which can delay the oxidation and aging of the wire.
