This Pit Boss controller manages the auger feed, ignition, and fan speed to ensure that desired or met temperature is achieved and properly maintained. This controller comes equipped with an LCD screen, temperature adjustment dial, meat probe port with digital readout, and PID technology.
The PID in a PID controller stands for Proportional, Integral, Derivative. This controller adjusts and manages the grills feed rate to automatically account for external factors, such as heat and wind, to stay closer to your desired temperature than a standard non-PID controller.
Note: This controller does not come with a meat probe.
